When it comes to sending your email, be it to one person or to your entire database, the introduction to your email is key. The 1st thing your recipients see when they receive an email is who the email is from and then, the subject line.
If your subject line tells your recipient what your email is about in a way that grabs their attention it’ll result in higher open (read) rates, which means higher click rates directing the recipients to your website, Facebook page etc.
Ask yourself if you would open and read your own email before you send it!
Another very important fact to consider: do NOT use possible SPAM words in your subject line. This decreases the delivery rate of your email drastically because your email will either end up in the junk mail folder or on some anti-spam list, making it very difficult for your email to reach the intended recipient in future.
So YES! Take some time with it, ask your friends to help you, browse the internet for a cool idea and make sure your emails have the best possible chance of being opened and read.
